How Channel Users Can Access the Billing Portal

This guide details the access and management permissions available to channel users in the Billing Portal based on their roles and billing settings.

Channel User Access in Billing Portal

Channel users can only access companies and locations assigned to their channel, with their access level determined by their assigned channel roles. Record visibility for specific product types depends on billing settings configured at the location product level—if disabled by the internal admin, channel users cannot view or manage records for that product type, regardless of their role.

Channel User 1, assigned to SIT Billing Auto US 1 Loc 1 with the Channel Sales Admin role, can view and manage Recovr4Keys sales records only if the internal admin enables the Visible By Channels Setting the Sales scope at the location product level.

In the Billing Portal, records are organized under split tabs. The user will see:

  • All - which includes legacy records and records with a null/All product type

  • RecovR – which includes records specific to the RecovR product type

  • Recovr4Keys – which includes records specific to the Recovr4Keys product type

Record visibility within these tabs depends on the Visible By Channels The setting configured by the internal admin at the location product level — it must be enabled for channel users to access records for that product type.
